Brilliant concert Nathalie Loriers trio

The well-known Jazz Maastricht atmosphere was quickly back, as if there never was a summer break. The room was well filled with visitors of all ages. Half of the audience existed of young students not older than 25 years of age.

The trio knew how to combine simplicity and perfection with high-level. Belgian pianist Nathalie Loriers and bassist Philippe Aerts conjured together beautiful and virtuoso lines from their instrument. The harmony was so complete that it became clear that they were not just a couple in music. Percussionist Joost van Schaik remained in the background, but thanks to his brilliant rhythms he made his presence unmistaken.  

This concert was a promising beginning for the new series, which we expect a lot from!
